Our wonderfully soft 100% linen napkins are made here in our Wanaka workshop from some of the world’s finest linen fabric. Sourced from a fifth generation mill in Belgium, our linen’s entire operation is CO2 neutral. The is flax grown through Northern Belgium in the perfect climate yielding the world’s best crops. The ideal growing conditions and the rich dark soil result in a taller plant, giving longer fibers which then produce the finest end product.
The perfect growing conditions combined with the expertise, pride and long tradition of the Belgian artisans result in a linen of superior quality. We are proud to create bedding from true Belgian Linen and all pieces come with a certificate of origin as guarantee.
Linen is renowned for its superior properties. Being extremely durable and absorbent, hypoallergenic, anti-static and environmentally friendly, linen is by far the best choice for your kitchen and table linen. Linen softens and improves with age and when cared for correctly has the potential to last decades. It is not just an attainable luxury purchase but a well deserved investment.
Cardrona Cream - Situated between Queenstown and Wanaka the iconic Cardrona Hotel is our inspiration for our Cardrona Cream. The historic cream coloured building is said to be New Zealand's most photographed pub.
Criffel Station Champagne - One of Wanaka's most popular and idyllic wedding venues is Criffel Station Woolshed. As an ode to the infinite amount of champagne consumed in celebration at the station, we give you Criffel Station Champagne.
Diamond Lake Lava - Diamond Lake's dark and moody surface is the namesake of our Diamond Lake Lava. The volcanic rock also being extremely present in New Zealand's geography and history.
McKay Merino - This two-tone colour has the appearance of raw merino wool as farmed by Lake McKay Station, one of Wanaka's only high country stations with stunning views of the area.
Wild Winter Thyme - Our soft green linen represents the colour of the wild thyme growing through the region which takes on a soft, almost silvery-green during the winter months.
