Fine Linen Bedding
On average, one third of our lifetime is spent between the sheets. This time should be as comfortable as possible. Linen, made from fiber of the flax plant, is more durable than cotton, hypoallergenic, kinder to the environment, anti-static and actually improves with age. We have sourced what is arguably the best linen fabric in the world direct from a fifth generation mill in Belgium, these guys know what they're doing. We also love the fact their entire operation is CO2 neutral.

Duvets, Pillows and Toppers
In combination with the finest linen bedding, your inners are just as important to give you a good night's rest. Filled with wool, alpaca fibre, feather and down we have sourced the best duvets, pillows and mattress toppers - All New Zealand made, of course. You'll feel like your bed is giving you a big warm hug and your body will thank you for it!
We also offer a duvet and pillow rejuvenation service. Keep your feather and down duvets and pillows clean, fresh and lofted. Ask us for more information.

We have a generous selection of indoor, outdoor and drapery fabrics available for viewing, suitable for upholstery, accessories or bedding.
With a bountiful range of designs, styles and compositions from a abundant collection of designers you are sure to discover something perfect for your project.
One of our favourites is Kerrie Brown Design, exclusive to Whistling Reindeer in the Southern Lakes region and home to only one other store in New Zealand. Her designs are lavish, bold and extremely large scale - Available in a luxurious velvet and textured linen feel fabric.
Re-Upholstery and Bespoke Furniture
Our Master Upholsterer can create any piece you wish. We specialise in reupholstering and creating one-off upholstered pieces, so you can be the proud owner of something unique. Custom made to fit any space we can craft anything from sofas to headboards and ottomans.

The Fatboy
Whistling Reindeer's signature piece is the "Fatboy". A generous 1.5 seater low-rise armchair, short and wide - Hence the name. However, the Fatboy is not your usual piece of furniture. With the ability to change its colours as easily as changing your bedding, the Fatboy has been designed with you in mind. Trends change, seasons change and moods change. No need for purchasing a new piece of furniture if you decide to redesign the space, a new loose cover is all you need.
